Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma

National sex offender registry

I have a cousin who is on the national sex offender registry. He is registered in California. He wants to use my address in Oklahoma when he visits & for work in Oklahoma. He has to have an address if he is in the state for more than 5 days in a 90 day period, if I understand correctly. If I let him use my address will this effect me personally/legally in any negative way?

Re: National sex offender registry

Yes. This registry requirement, which is very strict, will target you, your privacy and your domicile. You may want to reconsider whether or not you want to be associated with this type of situation. Particularly, if it is long-term.
