Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma
protective order
I ordered a protective order against my husband and then went and paid to have it dropped but the judged denied it.. I have heard that if I don't show up on the court date then it will automatically be dropped.. Is this true or will I be in trouble?

Re: protective order
If you issue an protective order you have a responsibility to show up in court to argue the case or to drop it. This is for your protection.
