Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma
My question is' my brother in law passed away almost 8 years ago. My mother in law didn't help pay for the funeral my husband and the other siblings did. But she owns the plot he is resting in peace in. We have to ask permission to put anything down there for him from us . Is there anything legal we can do????

There is no reason for anyone to ask her permission to put flowers on his grave. It is not a legal issue. In order to get the particular plot your brother-in-law is burried in, you could offer to buy the plot from his then wife.
