Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma

I got a summons for an old debt which I think may be pass statue of limitation for the state I currently live in. However the debt is from another state and was file in another state. So what are my options and do I follow the statue of limitations for the state the debt is from or the state I currently live in. Also if I do have to pay the debt back would the plaintiff be able to turn down payment arrangements with me legally?

Statute of limitations of the state where you incurred the debt should apply. If suit is brought in your state, then it would depend on your jurisdiction's conflicts of law. You need to talk to a lawyer in your state.
