Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oklahoma

four days ago my husband and a

friend traded trucks. the title to our

truck is here but the title to his

friends truck is in Nebraska. his

friend said that it would be mailed

to him and then they would sign

the titles. Then the truck that the

friend has our previous truck, has

developed a problem. It wont run.

Now my husband has spent 200.00

dollars to help fix the truck and it is

still not working we are out of

funds to help and not sure what to

do. when they traded their was

nothing wrong with our truck. it

was running great. now we don't

know what to do. the friend has

not said he wants to trade back but

we were wondering what our rights

are.

If there is not legal transfer of title, you both still have your obligations connected to the vehicles involved.
