Legal Question in Health Care Law in Oklahoma
care responsiblity
resident in nursing home is ill and receiving treatment. resident's infection becomes life threatening. nursing home is unable to provide proper care. resident does not want to go to the hospital. does the nursing home have to send him to the hospital since they cannot provide proper care?

Generally speaking, an fully informed competent adult has the right to refuse medical treatment, even life-saving medical treatment.
