An H-1B non-immigrant can only be employed by the petitioner(s) who possess a valid, approved I-129 petition on the beneficiary's behalf.
Although a foreign worker can work for two H-1B employers (with approved, valid I-129 petitions), s/he cannot work for anyone that does not possess an approved I-129 petition (H-1B).
