Legal Question in Immigration Law in Oklahoma
Immigration status on my fiancee
My fiancee's mother is a natural born citizen of the U.S. My fiancee was born in Mexico. Is he a U.S. citizen? If not, can he obtain his citizenship when we get married? He never obtained his social security card because his mother did not know if she could get it for him when he was born. Today he is 20 years of age. Will this cost money or can we just go to the social security office and get him a social security number. He has a child and another one on the way from myself (a natural born U.S. citizen). Will this help us obtain his citizenship?

Re: Immigration status on my fiancee
Date of birth of the parent and the child required before a definitive answer may be provided. Also, the citizenship of the other parent and whether the child was legitimate or illegitimate are other factors which must be examined. To schedule a consultation, please contact [email protected]
