Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Oklahoma

Is there an expiration on a letter of disclosure that i signed when i submitted my idea to a invention company ? can they steal it from me before i have the fund and/or resourses to patent it ? i reside in oklahoma and the company i submitted to is in florida...thank you for your time & guruness ...
