Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Oklahoma

Is it legal for an employer to require you to provide them with the password that you use to login to a business computer? Example: A branch manager requiring all employees on location to provide him with the passwords that they use to login to Microsoft Windows, giving them the same access as the employee when the employee is not around.

As a Franchise Attorney let me say this. There is nothing illegal about the employer (actually just the branch manager, from what you say) doing this. It might be a good idea to ask "why" and perhaps run the issue by someone higher up outside the branch. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
