What is the legal age that a minor can move out of their parents house? Can a 17 year old high school graduate move out of their parents house without parental consent?

Yes. A person under 18 years of age who is totally self-supporting is considered to be a emancipated minor. There is no fixed age when a child is emancipated and this emancipation can be expressed or agreed upon by parents and child.

And, if your child is no longer in high school, she may have reached the age of majority even though the age is 18 is not her biological age.
