Legal Question in Employment Law in Oklahoma

Bouncing payroll

I work for an ambulance service in oklahoma. I recently went to make a deposit in my checking account only to find that I was negative because my payroll check bounced. This isn't the first time this has happened to this company. They promised health insurance after 90 days and people haven't evern recieved applications for it yet. My question is what do you think I should do about all of this.

Re: Bouncing payroll

You may want to do two things. First, start looking for another job. A company that bounces payroll checks and doesn't provide promised benefits does not sound like a financially stable company. One day you could easily come to work and find it out of business. The next thing to do is contact the Department of Labor (either federal or state). Employers are obligated to pay you the wages you have earned on your payday.
