Legal Question in Employment Law in Oklahoma
health benifits
i was recently fired and my last check had 3 weeks combined insurance premiums deducted. i thought premiums were paid in advance. and how can they deduct future premiums when i no longer work there? is that legal? i have filed a wage claim form with the department of labor but is there any other legal action i can take? it just seems like theft to me. also i'm not the only ex-employee who has complained about a shortage on paychecks.

You might get a determination from the Dept/Labor, but also consult a local attorney.
