Legal Question in Employment Law in Oklahoma
My husband was fired yesterday from a company he had been with for almost four years. He has only missed two days in this time, he was told that he was being let go for "failure to communicate" and Human Resources informed him that they would not fight his unempolyment fileing. Does this sound like a "Wrongful Termination " to you?

In oklahoma, most employees are at will employees. This means a person can be fired without any reason.
Failure to communicate may not have anything to do with missing two days of work. It means that the employee does not communicate well with the employer. It may pertain to his work or communication with the employer's customers,
It appears to be an excuse for termination.
However, unless your husband has a written contract with his employer setting forth the terms of his employment, the employer has the right to terminate him at any time and for any reason it chooses to. This type of termination is not actionable.
If the employer vioates FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) or acted in bad faith, then it may be sued.
