do i have to report an old job injury on an application?

2 years ago i was injured on the job and fild a workers comp. claim for that injury.I received a small settlement and now i am wanting to return to the work force,so when i fill out an application do i have to report my past injury if they ask?

It is a violation of the ADA (Americans with Disabilitites Act) to have any questions about prior workers compensation injuries on the Application... now the companies are allowed to ask you if there are any limitations which would prevent you from performing the essential job functions... and yes, if the employer has offered you a job and then requires you to undergo a medical exam... part of which usually involves past injuries... then you have to tell them about the prior injury that has now healed.
