Legal Question in Employment Law in Oklahoma

Senior care worker (non licesnsed)

My employer has a stipulation that if I quit my job with him that I will not seek employment with the client I care for thru his agency for a period of 12 months. However my employer is selling his business to a home health agency that I do not want to work for. Since he is getting out of the business of caring for the elderly am I still bound by this restriction? I have been asked to care for this individual and not have any strings to the purchasing agency. since my present employer is selling the Senior Care business am I still comitted to this agreement I signed at my hiring?

Re: Senior care worker (non licesnsed)

I would need to review the language of the agreement to render a legal opinion. This would be billable.
