Wrongful termination
I worked at a Conoco gas station as an assistant manager.We were having a meeting and the lady ''our boss''called me a ''smart ass'' when I made a comment to my wife,who was my store manager.I wasn't even talking to the other lady.
When I told her not to curse at me she got made and cursed again.I told her by law she can't do that and she told me I didn't scare her.I said I wasn't trying to scare her just to tell her the law.She got mad and told me to get out i was fired.I then call the owner and while I was talking to him on my cell she was at the front counter talking crap about me to my wife and other employees and in front of customers.She also went to her store and was telling crew members how she fired me and just basically defaming me.
I have the whole meeting on tape and it occured in front of 6 employees ,counting my wife and myself.
This happened in OK.

Are you in a union? Did you have a written employment contract? Have you filed for Unemployment?
