Do I have 72 hours to back out of a lease on an apartment , that I did not move into?

Actually, you have 30 days to "quit" on a lease. Especially, if you never occupied or obtained your full rights or possession the dwelling according to lease. This lease should have been declared invalid from the start. However, I must answer your question cautiously because I am not aware of the full circumstances surround this lease. I hope this helps.
