Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oklahoma
My brother lives with my family and I, has for the last 5 years. He voluntarily offers about $160/month for expenses. I neither ask or expect it, but I do except it.
Does my brother have any leagal righttoexpect to stay with us for as long as he likes? Can I ask him to leave and force him to do so if he refuses?

Yes. If he was invited as a guest and his existence is based only on an act of good faith, support, voluntary and there are no written legal agreements such as verable or written expectations, leases, common or joint tendancies. However, it would be an act of good faith to give him at least 30 days written notice prior to requesting that he vacate the property or before taking legal action. I hope this helps. .
