Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oklahoma

Landlord showing lived in rental unit.

My roommate and I live in a duplex

currently and will be moving out at the

end of the month. Our landlord lives in

the same community and has been

making appointments with potential

renters to show our unit while we

currently live there whether or not we

are home. Being two single girls we

don't feel very comfortable with

strangers being shown our home. We

usually have as little as 15 minutes

notice. Is this all legal?

Re: Landlord showing lived in rental unit.

No. This isn't legal, moral or right. In spite of the fact that you are scheduled to move, you have the right to full the possession and enjoyment of the property or premises. And, while you occupy the property your privacy must be respected. Otherwise, the Landlord is liable for any harm or danger because your privacy and safety is being compremised.
