According to the Landlord and Tenant Act, the Landlord is responsible for any exterminations or repairs to the apartment or residence, particularly, if this problem affects your health and safety. However, you must notify them in writing asking for this repair or outlining the situation before you can take personal or legal action, then, after 14 days, you can take action to include charging the Landlord for fixing the problem if you choose to pay for it. The Landlord must deduct this from your rent.

if you have a lease contract then check the provisions of the contract to determine the actions you have to take. Or you may send your landlord a demand letter stating your concern and demand for him to effect the necessary repair for your continued enjoyment of the lease premises.
