I am leasing a home that I no longer live in and still pay the lease until august of 08' my name is not on any of the bills, do i have to pay for the utilities and cable if i am not living there.

No. And, there should no utility or cable bills if you no longer live there;no service is being used. If you have someone else there, they are responsible and should have these bills transferred to their names.
