Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oklahoma
I have recently discovered that my roommate is selling, what I can only assume is drugs, from our house. I signed a year lease and am wanting to know how to terminate it. What is the easiest way of going about this? My concerns also reach to whether or not I will be held responsible for any of his actions if he is caught.

Yes. You will be held accountable for his/he actions. Even worse, the authorities will everything you have under the assumption that they were purchased from this drug activity. The best thing to do is get him or her to agree to break your living arrangements and make other arrangements with another roommate. Then you have a legal obilgation to report this illegal activity to the authorities. This is for your protection and for others adversely affected by them. This activity can also subject you to harm by exposure and a violation of your privacy.
