how long do i have in the state of oklahoma to file on my landlord after i have notified him of my intent to file for the return of my secutity deposit

This letter should have been sent immediately after you vacated the property and after all damages to the property have been reconciled by both parties (you and the Landlord).
We recommend that you reconcile all damages and do a walk-through and assessement of the dwelling before vacating. Otherwise the landlord can create a situation to appear that you left the property with damages and keep the security deposit to apply to damages. This happens often. If there are no damages I recommend that you get a copy of the Oklahoma Landlord/Tenant Act to answer your question and if the Landlord had released without incident, you should send this letter requesting your security deposit immediately.
