Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oklahoma

Do I need Something in writing?

We signed a 3 year lease on a commercial property 12 months ago with the monthly lease payments 1/2 going to landlord A and 1/2 going to landlord B. Landlord A passed away recently and son of landlord A says to make 1/2 lease payment to him instead of deceased landlord A......Do I need something in writing or just make payments to him? There is nothing in lease agreement addressing heirs or payments if one landlord dies......Thanks in advance

Any help will be appreciated.....

Yes you should get something in writing.

WHo is the property owner?

DO you have acknowledgements for all payments made to date?
