Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Oklahoma

foster childeren

we have two foster boys thru an foster care agency. we recently upset the DHS case worker she has called our agency and accused us of being an unsafe home and racist. she has never had more that a ten minute conversation we us and has never set foot in our home she refuses to return any of our phone calls. what we are wondering because of the false statements is there any legal actions we pursue?

Because there are children in involved and without knowing all of the circumstances, we would approach this situation cautiously. It is my understanding that there are DHS processes and procedures in place to address all foster care situations in child protective services. Your rights will be protected under these procedures and I would recommend that you take advantage of these procedures to provide the facts and/or your communication, position or circumstances surrounding your experienceswith the case worker.
