Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Oklahoma

I have been incarcerated for the past 8 years therefore i am in the rears of child support in washington county okla as a direct result my drivers license has been suspended i have made attempt to contact dhs & have gotten no response i'd like to arange a payment plan and at least get a license for work purposes What do i need to do to accomplish this task thanks for any help you may have to offer my children are now ages 24 &25 therefore should only owe for 4 to 6 years desperate to do the right thing

You should be able to resolve this issue by visiting the DHS Child Support Division directly and in person. It is not recommended that you attempt to do so by phone because it may require them to look at your file to determine what action they will take on your case.

If you are not successful at the local office in Washington County, it is recommended that you visit the DHS State office at the Sequoyah Building near the Oklahoma State Capitol because your case may be closed. However, it have remained opened if you received a court order for these arrearages prior to you incarceration. I hope this helps.
