Multiple jobs in municipality

Can the Town Counsel ursurp the Posers of Police Commisioner to requitre the Police Chief to report to all Counsel members what he is doing, when he does it, and with who? This will interfer with his duties in every aspect.

The counsel do have some reporting requirements by the towns police officers, but there are limitations. The primary responsibility of the Police Commissioner(PC) rests within the authority of the Attorney General. You can review and/or identify the PC's full job description by reviewing the Oklahoma State Statute, Subsection 70.3311.
