Is it illegal to make some one work on Sunday so they miss worship?

If this is a regular workday and Sunday was included or predetermined before the person is hired they can legally require the person to work.
On the other hand, if he/she is required to work deliberately to avoid worship, this can be construded as discrimination based on religion or religious affiliation.
To anwser your question, Yes. If this work day was not predetermined when the person is hired AND the person can prove that he/she had to work to miss Sunday worship, a complaint of discrimination can be filed based on these facts. Just remember, the burden of this proof is on the person filing the complaint and this is not that difficult to prove.
