Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Oklahoma

I had complete hysterectomy in '03 - late '09 i started having pains in my left side so I went to the Dr. (a different Dr.) she ordered an ultrasound to be done, I was told they found a mass so she orderd an MRI, her nurse called to inform me that it was my left ovary - I told her I no longer had my ovaries & she said yes you do - I spoke with the Dr. & she confirmed. I was in total shock, so upset!

I requested & received my medical records from the hospital & from what I'm reading it states that in fact my ovaries were removed. Is this a case?

I strongly suggest you have an attorney with healthcare experience look at the information as soon as possible. Note that a hysterectomy procedure does not always include removal of the ovaries. You state your procedure was in 2003, so there would be a defense that the statute of limitations have run and expired, but there is a possible counter argument against that. The devil is always in the details, and the medical records are the key to assessing the case. Again, at this point, I suggest you have an attorney with healthcare experience review the information.
