Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oklahoma

Accident w/ personal injury and own insurance liability.

My wife and I were injured in an auto accident where the driver at fault did not have insurance other than business liability (it was a business vehicle). Is our uninsured motorist insurance liable for other than what our coverage is? My wife and I are unable to work now, what can we do to get some sort of compensation from this situation? The at fault driver had just purchased the car from a local used car lot and did not provide proof of insurance before taking the vehicle and the vehicle transfer paperwork had not been completed, is the car dealers insurance liable for the accident since the complete transfer was not made and the new owner did not provide proof of insurance? Is anyone interested in taking this claim?

Re: Accident w/ personal injury and own insurance liability.

Your UM/UIM policy will only pay up to the limits of your coverage. It is possible that the dealorship's insurance may have coverage, but these types of questions are very fact specific. I would need to meet with you and gather as much information as possible before venturing an opinion on what coverages are available.

If you would like to meet, please give me a call so we can schedule an appointment.
