Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oklahoma

There is a city-owned drainage ditch that runs next to our property. Neighborhood kids like to get into the ditch and use it as a short cut, etc. Could we be held liable for injuries that might occur in the ditch if the kids cross our property to get in, and we don't have some barrier (like fencing) in place to discourage them?

That's a good question. I would say you certainly could be sued by an injured kids' parents, but I doubt a court would find you liable. You never know though; stranger things have happened.
