contract for deed and legal date of sale?
In a Contract for Deed, is the legal date of sale the date the Contract for Deed is signed? Or is the legal date of sale the date the Contract for Deed is transferred to buyer?

The date the contract is signed is the sale date unless otherwise stated within the contract itself or some ancillary document attached as an addendum.
