Last Months Rent
We sold a rental property. The tenants are behind in their rent to us. The realtor says we must turn over the last month rent to the new owner. Is this a law? What about their past due rent?

Typically, the owner of property is entitled to any rent which accrued during the time of their ownership. The sale contract will control your specific situation.
