If I add a person onto the title of my house as a joint tenant can my mortgagee make my loan due and payable?

Probably not. Read the provisions of your mortgage contract carefully.

You are dealing with the law of contracts, and you and the mortgagee have agreed to a number of possibilities. See if your contract covers this one.
