Rent deposit return and gas line leak painted over.
When moving from my last place of residence a gas leak became very appearent. We called our landlord and got no answer then called ONG. ONG came out and turned off the gas and said the leak had been there the entire time and was painted over. We wnat our deposit back but have recieved no communicatin with the landlord and can get no answer when we call. Our last gas bill was $125 and we moved out on Feb 12th. Please advise if we have a legal right to seek action against the landlord.

I dont understand what getting your deposit has to do with the gas leak. You would be entitled to your deposit back if you left the place in good condition and owed no rent. Your gas bill doesnt sound that high to me. But I dont know anything about the place you were renting to judge whether it was high or low.
