CPA giving information to third parties.
My CPA faxed copies of my tax returns to my soon to be exmother-in-law. These tax returns did not have her son's name on them and I had filed them alone. She used information from these tax returns to threaten me for various reasons through my divorce proceedings. Is there anything that can be done about the CPA violating my privacy?

Immediately, tell your divorce lawyer. He/she will help you file an ethics complaint ( and possibly a malpractice complaint ) against the CPA if it is warranted.
I hope this helps!
