Legal Question in Traffic Law in Oklahoma
How do I go about fighting an exorbitant fine for a parking ticket? My son parked on the grass in Edmond, OK, to attend class at a college in Edmond. The fine was $125, his parking pass is $125 a semester. There are no parking spaces after a certain time in the morning and a lot of students fight this scramble everyday. Do I have anyway out of this or at least get it reduced to a manageable fine? Can a city set its fines as high as it wants??

Seek to be heard by teh college. Organize a group and ask that the admnistration put in on its Board's monthly meeting docket.
As regards the ticket, sue the College as a third party and bring it into your case filed by the City on the ticket.
