Call Oklahoma Bar Association and Cleveland County Bar Association. There are a few lawyers that appear before the Veterans Board. If you are unable to find any after calling them, call me back at 405-312-0160.

Check these websites: vetadvocates.com and attorneys4veterans.com. I practice veterans law in Texas. In veterans' cases, you really don't need to have a local attorney, unless that's what you prefer. I would recommend that you look for an attorney who is a member of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates (NOVA). You may also, on your own, look at your medical records and compare them to the rating criteria. You may be stuck with what they gave you, simply because the rating schedule is outdated. You may also need to get a private medical opinion to support your need for an increase. Most of it all depends on your medical evidence and how it compares to the specific diagnostic code they have assigned. Good luck, and feel free to email me with any further questions at [email protected].
