Legal Question in Veterans Law in Oklahoma

on-set of symptoms

claim for ptsd denied due to lack of inservice treatment or symptoms during active duty. the symptoms of ptsd do not always manfest themselves until years after trauma which is the case for me. How do I effectively negotiate this with the va. I began treatment 1 year after discharge and then I did not know what I had.

I am sorry to hear of your situation. I handle VA claims and would need more information in order to better assess your situation.

I offer free initial consultations and would be happy to initiate a teleconference in order to save you in long distance charges.

If you would like to talk, let me know and we can set up an appointment.

This sounds typical of the VA. YOu probably do need someone to review your case. Do you have supportive medical opinions and documented stressors? What is the date of your most recent denial? You can email me with further details.
