Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oklahoma
My Father is 80 years old and terminally ill. He has been remarried for 19 years. The problem is,
I just found out he does not have a living will and his wife has been assigned as Legal Guardian of his Estate. She has been very secretive and gets very defensive when asked questions about anything relating to this matter. She claims my Father is not capable of handleing his own affairs.
Question: Does my family have any legal recourse in this matter?

You and any other siblings who are descendants of your father have the right to challenge the guardianship. Go to the county court where the guardianship was obtained. The challenge should be filed in that case before it is too late. You should obtain a good lawyer to do this.
