Intestate Succession

If a mother dies intestate in Oklahoma and leaves five living children (over the age of 40)and has a son who predeceases her but he has a son (her grandson) still living. Does that grandchild of the predeceased child inherit an equal amount with the children?

Thank you for your question. Assuming there is no surviving spouse,the child(ren) of a deceased

child would take by right of representation or in other words the child(ren) of the deceased child would get the interest their deceased parent would have gotten had he lived. Because there is only child of a deceased child that child in this case gets the same as the others.
