Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Oregon
Domestic partner bankruptcy
My domestic partner filed for bankruptcy. We have a vacation home with legal half interest for each of us, although I have made 85% of the investment. Equity is about $20,000. Will the bankruptcy court take the vacation home, put a lien on it, or other action? Is there anything I can do?

Vacation home. . . .not primary residence? You may be faced with buying out your partner by paying value of your partner's interest to the trustee of the bankruptcy estate. You need legal counsel to protect your interest. ...immediately. .contact an attorney who works with creditor bankruptcy.
