Portland, OR
Hi I just had a importland question about my friend, which her was working in the Hilton hotel as a housekeeping and she don't speak english and her manager thought that her stole a new bed quilt form the hotel.
Does the managers have the right to rescach the employees car (which that is outside the workplace), if manager think that the employees stole a new bed Quilt?

As a Franchise Attorney I agree entirely with the other attorney answer. Your friend should contact the local employment development or labor law department and report what happened. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
