Legal Question in Business Law in Oregon
My business partner filed for personal bankruptcy, and then the business was shut down because the state determined that he was not following state law. He now refuses to pay me the back wages that he owes me, and also refuses to pay me my share (10%) of the profits from the business. The business had a profit of $582k, so I am owed appx. $58k. How can I get this money?

If you were an employee of the business and was not fully paid, file a complaint with Oregon BOLI:

Re your share of the profits, you should file a lawsuit against your partner.
