Legal Question in Business Law in Oregon
I want to name my company in the state of Oregon something very similar to one that already exists. Here's the theoretical example. I want to name my company "Banzai Eugene Party Bus". There is already a company called "Banzai Co." in Eugene. There is also a company called "Eugene Party Bus" in Eugene. Will I have legal problems down the road?

It depends upon what Banzai Co. does. If it is not in the bus or transportation business, you are probably okay. Your name 'Bonzai Eugene Party Bus" would likely not infringe any trademark held by "Eugene Party Bus," since Eugene is a place and party bus is a generic term.
