Legal Question in Business Law in Oregon

My husband is wanting to sell the business to an employee against my wishes. The employee is immature (threats of violence against others etc). She spends a lot of time flattering him/his ego. We have also received an offer to buy from a company with 3.2 billion in assets who I do support. What can I do to stop him from selling to her?

It's hard to say without knowing what type of company you're talking about (a corporation? a partnership? etc.) and what ownership interest you have, if any.

The other attorney is right on point here. Also, appeal to your husband's business instincts, especially ;given the financial and other business qualifications of the $3.2 billion company. Is he going to be taking any paper back (a promissory note) on the sale? If so, it's much better to deal with a $3.2 billion company. Consult with a business attorney in your area for specifics.
