Legal Question in Business Law in Oregon

I was removed from a business and want to know what I might still be responsible for. Another person Opened a business and I helped with it. Its an LLC, and the only thing my name was on was the bank account. I helped run the business for 10 months, and then when I tried to offer to become a partner, they removed me from the bank account and kicked me out of the business. Now they are trying to come after me for business expenses and money the business paid to me as an employee. They are saying I had stolen that spent on expenses, and paid to me. Even though they put me on the account, and told me to pay myself this way. Do they have a case? There are no contracts or verbal agreements. We never could agree on anything. What should I do?

If what you say is true, your partners will not be able to establish with proof that you stole anything. They will have to hire an attorney and spend at least tens of thousands of dollars to bring against you even a minimally credible lawsuit. Tell them not to contact you, except in writing. Gather up and keep all relevant documents you may have.
