Oregon enacts a law to stop unwanted email referred to as spam. The law states in pertinent part, �Anyone person who sends unwanted or unsolicited email over the Internet is guilty of a felony. This section also applies to any person who aid, abets or conspires to violate this statute.� Virginia is the only state that has a similar statute.

There is no such law in Oregon.
