Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oregon

Civil rights

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I was before a judge and we had a agreement (mylawyer, the judge and the DA). After my lawyer left, the judge called me up again(did not allow me have my lawyer return) and changed some of the details in our agreement. In doing so, granted a court order that was said would not be granted when my lawyer was present.

Is this in fact a violation of my civil rights (denial of legal represantation). To my understanding and training from the NYPD it is.

Re: Civil rights

While it probably wasn't a violation of your civil rights there may be other issues involved. Judges generally have wide discretion. Was this part of a plea agreement? Was this in a civil or criminal context? Was it part of sentencing? I would need to know more before giving you an opinion on the judge's conduct and authority. If you would like you can call me.

Should you like to discuss this or any other legal matter, you can call my office to schedule an appointment for a consultation or in the alternative, I can be reached for on-phone low-cost legal consultation at 1-800-275-5336 x0233699.
